Masatake Dojo Israel - Rehovot Aikikai Aikido - English information

Lets Practice Aikido
Daily aikido training at Masatake Dojo

About our dojo:
Our dojo was established in 1999 after I returned to Israel from Japan where I stayed for seven years of intensive aikido training in the beautiful city of Kyoto. Currently, there are about 200 members training happily and regularly. About 30 of them have black belt degrees, and I always feel a deep gratitude for their dedication and assistance. We always welcome visitors to enjoy our daily aikido classes.

The five characteristics of our aikido classes:
  • reigi - etiquette - creates fruitful learning atmosphere.
  • safety - ensures everyone's joy and health.
  • giho - basic technical principles and movements.
  • waza - aikido techniques - quiet and sincere practice.
  • theory & culture - learning and understanding the Japanese cultural, historical and philosophical aspects of aikido
